These terms govern your use of this website and every order you place with us. By placing an order, you accept them.

This website is operated by Mastery Books ("we", "us", "our"). We publish and sell printed and digital books on technical, vocational, professional and general subjects.

By browsing this website, creating an account or placing an order, you confirm that you have read and accepted these Terms of Service, along with our Shipping Policy and Exchange & Replacement Policy, which form part of these terms.

You also confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, or are using this website under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not place an order.

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the time of your order is the version that applies to that order.

All prices are listed in Indian Rupees (INR) and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.

We may change prices, offers and discounts at any time. The price shown at the time your order is confirmed is the price that applies to that order.

Product descriptions, page counts, chapter lists and sample images are provided in good faith and as accurately as possible. Minor variations in print colour, paper shade, cover finish or binding may occur between batches.

All products are subject to availability. If an ordered title is unavailable, we will inform you and either dispatch a replacement of equal value with your consent, or refund the amount paid.

In the event of an obvious pricing or listing error, we reserve the right to cancel the affected order and refund the amount paid in full.

An order is confirmed only once payment (or the applicable partial COD booking amount) is successfully received and you receive an order confirmation from us.

Payments are processed through third-party payment gateways. We do not store your card, UPI or banking details at any point.

You are responsible for providing a correct delivery address and a reachable phone number. We are not liable for delays or non-delivery caused by incorrect or incomplete details.

We reserve the right to decline or cancel any order where we reasonably suspect fraud, abuse of an offer, bulk ordering for resale, or repeated refusal of deliveries. Any amount already paid in such cases is refunded.

Orders can be cancelled by you within 12 hours of placing them, provided the parcel has not been dispatched. Once dispatched, an order cannot be cancelled.

When you buy a digital copy, or receive one free with a printed book, you are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to read and use it for your own purposes. You do not acquire ownership of the content.

You may not copy, reproduce, print for distribution, resell, rent, sub-licence, translate, upload to any file-sharing or cloud-sharing service, share your access credentials, or make the content available to any third party in any form.

Each copy issued is traceable. Unauthorised sharing or distribution will result in immediate termination of your access without refund, and we reserve the right to pursue civil and criminal remedies under the Copyright Act, 1957 and the Information Technology Act, 2000.

All content on this website and inside our books — text, diagrams, tables, illustrations, formulations, layouts, photographs, brand names and logos — is owned by Mastery Books or licensed to us, and is protected by Indian and international copyright law.

You may not reproduce, distribute, republish, photocopy, scan, screenshot for distribution, adapt or create derivative works from any part of our content without our prior written permission.

Where our books grant a specific commercial-use licence — for example, the right to manufacture and sell products made using published formulations — that licence applies only to the products described, and never to the book itself. The book, in print or digital form, may not be reproduced or resold under any circumstance.

Standards, codes and specifications referred to in our books (such as IS, IEC, IRC, MoRTH, ASME, ISO and AIS documents) are the property of their respective issuing bodies. We reference them; we do not reproduce or replace them.

Our books are published for educational, training and reference purposes. They describe general practice and are not a substitute for professional judgement, statutory approval, manufacturer documentation or qualified supervision.

Where our titles deal with electrical systems, high-voltage equipment, construction, chemical formulation, medical or health-related subjects, vehicle systems or any other field involving risk to life, property or health:

All such work must be carried out only by trained, and where required, licensed or certified persons, using correct safety equipment.

Values, tables and parameters published in our books are indicative reference ranges. Where they differ from the manufacturer's data, an approved design document, a contract specification or the current edition of an applicable standard, those documents prevail.

Every formulation, calculation or procedure must be independently verified, and where relevant trial-tested, before being applied commercially or on site.

Any statutory registration, licence, labelling requirement, laboratory testing or regulatory approval applicable to your work remains entirely your responsibility.

Nothing in our books or on this website constitutes legal, financial, tax, medical or professional engineering advice for any specific situation.

Delivery timelines, charges and dispatch terms are set out in our Shipping Policy. Damage claims, replacements and the limited circumstances in which a refund is issued are set out in our Exchange & Replacement Policy.

Both policies form part of these terms. Please read them before placing an order, as we do not accept returns or offer refunds for change of mind, and digital copies are non-refundable once accessed.

You agree not to use this website for any unlawful purpose, or in any way that could damage, disable or impair it.

You may not attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the website, its servers, or any account belonging to another user.

You may not use automated systems, scrapers or bots to extract content, images or data from this website.

Any review, comment or content you submit must be genuine, must be your own, and must not be unlawful, misleading, defamatory or infringing on anyone's rights.

We may suspend or terminate access for any user who breaches these terms, without notice and without refund.

This website may contain links to third-party websites, payment gateways, courier tracking portals and hosting services. These are provided for convenience only. We do not control them, do not endorse their content, and are not responsible for their availability, policies or practices. Your use of any third-party service is governed by that party's own terms.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability in relation to any order is limited to the amount you actually paid for that order.

We are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss — including loss of profit, loss of business, project delay, rework cost, damage to property or equipment, or personal injury — arising from the use or misuse of information contained in our books or on this website, or from any failure to verify that information against the governing documents described in Section 7.

We are also not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including courier disruption, natural events, strikes, regulatory restrictions or internet and hosting failures.

Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or any other law that cannot be lawfully excluded.

The personal information you provide — name, address, phone number and email — is used solely to process, deliver and support your order, and to send you order-related communication. We do not sell your data. For full details, please see our Privacy Policy.

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these terms or any order shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Bharatpur, Rajasthan, India.
